In a first of its kind in the country, Government of Andhra Pradesh has announced MSP for turmeric. Started the procurement on 30 April 2020 and 19MTS of turmeric procured since then.

Procurement of agricultural commodities worth 1500 crs has been done during this rabi season; out of which over 1000 crs has been procured during lockdown on 16 May 2020.
